The Dovetail Centre Café is open to everyone.

Opening times

The café is open every weekday and Saturdays, except Good Friday and Bank Holidays. Hours of opening are from 9am to 12noon Monday to Friday and 10am to 12noon on Saturdays. There is free car parking behind the church buildings.

The Dovetail Centre has attractive furnishings and lighting. It has a lounge area with tub chairs, low tables and toys and books for children. There is a daily paper and a community book exchange.

Inexpensive drinks priced from 15p to £1.20

The menu has a range of coffees, including filter coffee at 70p and 80p and, from the bean-to-cup machine, americano, cappuccino, latte, decaffeinated and de-luxe hot chocolate at £1.20. A wide range of teas is also available at 50p. There are soft drinks and fruit juice at 40p and squash at 15p.

We have a large number of regular customers, but also a steady stream of new faces, and the staffing is generous so that people who would like company can be assured of friendly conversation or a listening ear.

All our staff are volunteers and all profits go to local charities and the work of the church.

The Cafe is well known for its atmosphere of Christian friendliness and its warm welcome to all ages.

The newly refurbished Dovetail Centre Café is open to everyone.
